Question:
I got a spike in one of our meters. It gave an output problem instead of staring the data.
Doesn't it normally give a spike validation trip?

Answer:
Because of the spikes that went trough in the past we had to make the spike checking tighter.
This is why it worked in the past but doesn't anymore.
There are two thresholds. One is when it is more than the VA of the connection and the other is when it is 10x more than the VA of the connection. It logs it in both circumstances, but it refuses to accept the profile in the second case and therefor throws it out. The second threshold used to be 250x, but we found that 10x is more suitable.
