Please Note! For the easier way to set this up, pls ignore this first post and read the second post here-under.

If you have the windows software, you can connect to the DC with RS485, through terminals 39 and 40.

Set it up similar to the internal Linyang GPRS modem:

So the IP is the IP of your pnpscada server, and the port is 2245 for the internal GPRS modem, and 2246 for the Linyang Data Concentrator.

Please note! To use this method, you must connect your computer to the DC directly via ethernet cable. Your PC must have a static IP in the 192.168.8.* range (not .3), so that you can browse http://192.168.8.3 which is where the DC is located. If that doesn't work, browse https://192.168.8.3, or try port 8080 like so: http://192.168.8.3:8080. If you manage to connect on https, please enable the overrides so that you can still browse the 'site'.

You can also possibly browse it and set it up with a web interface.

Same setting. Remember also to set up the APN name appropriately.

Please note that the concentrator is not always 192.168.8.3.
You can find the actual IP by downloading nmap and running this command:
nmap -p80 192.168.8.*
You should get the following output:

It will write your IP and the IP of the concentrator.
