Hi Marinus

Some feedback, is that the readings at the V&A are now spot on, Simon is impressed, the HOA of the V&A Apartments. Some questions he has:

1.    How do we set parameters to be able to send over usage or under usage of water?

2.    Can he configure it to receive SMS?s or e-mails?

3.    And to set the tamper up?

Thanks and

Two Limits can be set. Both are over usages. The first limit is on the first pulse counter, and the second limit is on the second pulse counter.

'

The limit can be set per meter on the Pulse Meters associated with the Pulse Outputs from the Vixnet Manzi RTU device, under Advanced Meter Settings (this is normally the Demand Alarm). It is essentially the kl/h rate limit.

We do alarm on that if the profile exceeds the limit, with the event 133,which is Consumption > Limit (Sw) (long description) and > (short description). This specific alarm and notification is generated internally in the server, against the Pulse Meter entity.

However the same limits are passed to the Vixnet Manzi to raise alarms on. The alarm it raises on the Vixnet Manzi entity itself on over usage is: 131, which is Pipe Burst/burst.  (HIGH_FLOW in the Manzi)

Other alarms and notifications that comes from the Vixnet Manzi, and are raised on the Vixnet Manzi entity are:

ME_BATTERY_EXPIRE??16    (critical)?Battery Failure/Battery!

ME_BATTERY_VOLTAGE_OK??36    (low)??Battery voltage OK/Battery^

ME_TERMINAL_COVER_TAMPER?102   (this is the tamper that the vixnet manzi sends)?Terminal Cover Tamper/tamper

On PNPSCADA, you can set the meter events to raise notifications or not. logins and roles can be set up to receive notifications or not, and potentially via sms and email.

So, the short answer is, yes, he can configure it to receive SMS and/or emails, to different users or groups of users.
