Basically when you add the Split Incomer Calendar, you choose a number of Meter Accounts, that each represents a different Incomer to the micro-grid, for example Grid, Generator, Solar.

And then it creates a TOUID (Time of Use ID, or 'Schedule') for each of them, in the same way as a TOU Calendar entity creates for example a Peak, Standard and Off-Peak schedule.

So then, when you create a Consumption Tariff Line Item (TOU one), you will see e.g. 'Solar' or 'Generator' when you select your TOU id in the tariff item.

If you have different meters for all your tenants, you can then have separate tariff line items (with different tariffs) on their Meter Account Bills for the different Incomers. What the system will do in the background, is to charge a particular profile period's energy (e.g. half hour) of the tenant meter, on the particular tariff line item according to its proportion of the total incomers. For instance, if for that half hour, the site pulled 20 kWh from Solar and 80 kWh from Grid for a total of 100 kWh incomer into the micro grid, and the tenant used 10 kWh in the same half hour, 2 kWh would be charged to the Solar line item, and 8 kWh would be charged to the Grid line item.

It is important to realize, that the Split Incomer Calendar is only valid up to the minimum maxdate of the incomers.

It is important to note, that all the different selectable TOUID (Schedules) of the Split Incomer Calendar, would total to 1 for any particular profile period, in a similar way to the Time of Use Calendar.

For instance, you can have Grid OR Solar OR Generator at 1 (one out of 3) for a particular half hour, and then the other two would be zero. OR you could have two being 0.5 and 0.5, and then the other 0, or perhaps you could have 0.3, 0.3 and 0.4, for a total of 1.
