Please note, that the Munsoft Bill Export needs a Meter Reader file to be uploaded into pnpscada every month. This file is sent by the Municipality to the Meter Readers, including manual meter readers, that must give them readings.

So you upload the file under the Tools->Bill Export menu item. Select the MunSoft radio button, and click the upload button next to it, and choose the file the municipality gave you, and it will generate an Error file and an Answer file (it will save the uploaded file as the Question file).

The above 3 files, for every export attempt, will be accessible when you click the 'logs' link, to the right of the upload button mentioned above, also on the Bill Export screen. You may want to click 'more' to see files generated in the past.

Please note that the Munsoft Bill Export cannot pass back readings for meters that the Munsoft upload file did not already mention. New meters must be loaded into Munsoft independently from pnpscada.

The most important columns in the upload csv file, is the third column that identifies the register, and the fourth column that is the meter serial number.

The third column register should be defined for the meter in the associated TOU Calendar, as associated on the Advanced Meter Settings screen. The screen where billing identifiers are configured per meter billing register, is in the Edit->Calendar Registers screen.

If it is not found, and the meter is only mentioned once, it will attempt to just export the normal main meter total. In most cases that would be good enough, but if you want to generate other readings, you should define them in the Calendar Registers screen.
