there used to be a dropdown for meter accounts next to my profile graph, but now it is missing,
can you please put it back

The dropdown next to the profile graph is replaced by "next" and "previous" links as soon as you can see more than 100 meter accounts.
If you want to see the dropdown, you can make multiple entity-restricted roles, and divide the meter accounts between the roles, such that there are 100 or less meter accounts per role.
You will also need to make a login for each role, and then zoom to that login.
