It is now possible to end off your readings on a meter for one tenant, and start with new readings on the same meter for a new tenant moving into the same property.
Access this from the Edit-MeterDetails screen (bottom of 3 possible links at the top right)
What this effectively does, is to split the meter into an old uninstalled meter and a current active meter of the same serial number.
Go to your old tenant's meter account, and remove the active meter from it. All his historical data will still be available on the old meter.
In the new tenant's meter account, add only the active meter. He will not be able to see any of the old tenant's data.

Unfortunatly the split is applied to the current date and time.
If you need to specify a specific date and time for the split, you can:
1. backup the profile and totals for the meter.
2. set your "Last Read Up to Date & Time" back to when the split should happen.
3. then click the "tenant moved out" link which will make 2 meters, and old and a new
your new meter should have "Installation Date & Time" equal to the old meter's "Last Read Up to Date & Time"
4. then import your backed up profile back into the new meter.
