Answer:
To disconnect an AS230 meter:

  1. Add a Contactor Entity for the Meter Contactor of the relevant AS230 meter
  2. Go to Home and Select the Contactor (under 'You have x Contactor(s) on your account.')
  3. Go to to the 'Edit->Switch Breaker' screen from the menu (it should be in bold)
  4. Click the 'Switch Off' button
To add a Contactor Entity for the Meter Contactor of an AS230 meter:

  1. Make sure what the meter serial number is of the meter you want to switch off. Remember it.
  2. Go to Home and push the 'Add New' button
  3. Choose the 'Breaker/Connector' category in the drop down list and push the 'Next' button
  4. Choose the 'Contactor' type in the drop down list and push the 'Next' button.
  5. Every AS230 has 2 physical digital outputs, one being the Contactor to switch the whole supply, and the other being the Relay to optionally switch an additional load like a geyser. You need to choose the Contactor for the meter you remembered from step 1.
If you don't see your meter serial number in the drop list, push the '...' button to open a browse window ("Find Digital Output" popup); and either page to it, or type the serial number in the search field and push the search button. When you see the correct serial number (with Contactor at the end); double click it. This will return you to the "Adding a Contactor" window with the correct entity selected in the drop list.
Once you have selected the Contactor, push the 'Next' button.
  6. Type the User-Defined name into the 'User Defined Name' field (any description will do, typically the site name followed by the unit/shop number); and push the 'Finish' button.
Your Contactor has bow been added.
