Remote Support, Software Upgrades and Remote Backup

If you need support, we can usually help you remotely (because your server is on the Internet); or over the telephone.
At SDG we only support the latest version of Plug and Play ScadaTM: If you are eligible for support, we will upgrade your Software remotely for free.
An additional benefit of your server being connected on the internet, is that we can offer a daily remote offsite backup service. We recommend this as 'pre-emptive support', in case you lose your data for whatever reason. It enables us to restore your system to a previous state within 8 hours from scratch.
If you have your own server, you can also use the same mechanism to do Remote Backups to another server hosted in your own server facility for extra data redundancy. It is simple to set up on most Linux servers.
