The epad3 allows communication from the ethernet to both RS232 and RS485 devices simultaneously, without the need for a RS 232/485 converter.\

The epad3 can multi-drop a RS232 device (like an Elster A1140 meter) and a RS485 device (like an Elster A220 meter) simultaneously.\
