Answer:
1. Make sure that the meter total in the MIU is correct, in isolation from Plug and Play Scada: just using the MIU and WavenetExplorer. In other words, any fault cannot be Plug and Play Scada's fault.
Do this by synchronizing the physical reading with the MIU reading. Then wait for the meter to advance. Read again, and compare with physical reading. Only if it shows the physical reading is this working, and can you go to the next step to involve Plug and Play Scada.
2. Make sure the historic totals in Plug and Play are correct, by using Edit->MeterTotals. Here you can recalculate old totals, uninterpolate profile between totals, re-interpolate profile between totals, enter manual totals, etc. Do what you have to do to fix the totals history on this screen. Then afterwards run or re-run your bills (any bills run before you fixed the totals would not be right)
A principle here that is important, is that your latest totals must be accurate as read from the field. Therefore, if you have to recalculate totals on order to bill the correct consumptions, recalculate older totals rather than new totals.
